Strengthening Organizations with OpenText’s Load Runner and Fortify

Metro Connect Co., Ltd. (MCC) in collaboration with I2 Enterprise Public Company Limited organized a seminar on “Elevate DevSecOps with Load Runner & Fortify” on June 12, 2025, at Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21. Ms. Rumrada Kanbunjong, Sales Deputy Director of I2 Enterprise Public Company Limited, honored the event by giving the opening remarks. The aim was to enhance knowledge and application of DevSecOps while presenting software testing and security technology from OpenText to organizations.

The event featured knowledge sharing on DevSecOps through OpenText product presentations by Mr. Varuch Rattanatumma, Assistant Vice President of Metro Connect Co., Ltd., who explained two OpenText products: Load Runner, which tests the efficiency of software. The second product is Fortify, which is necessary for software developers involved in DevSecOps to work efficiently and securely throughout all stages of software development.

This seminar included a Load Runner demonstration for application performance testing, presented by Mr. Tawan Soonthornarom, Presales Specialist at Metro Connect Co., Ltd. Load Runner is considered a comprehensive Performance Engineering tool that helps organizations measure their capacity to support users through “Stress Testing” systems and accurately detect bottlenecks that may occur. Mr. Tawan presented real-world case studies, such as the development of a vaccine booking system that couldn’t handle high concurrent usage. Such problems can be prevented by Load Runner, efficiently handling real-world usage.

Mr. Pratya Sinthong, Presales Specialist, and Mr. Kridsakorn Boonsopa, Presales Specialist at Metro Connect Co., Ltd. explained Fortify’s role in implementing the “Shift & Lift” concept in DevSecOps processes to make security an integral part of development from the beginning. Key features include Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Fortify on Demand (FoD), and Software Security Center (SSC), suitable for On-premise, On-demand, or Hybrid usage. Mr. Pratya and Mr. Kridsakorn highlighted that Fortify is a comprehensive, ready-to-use solution that addresses business needs for speed, confidence, and security simultaneously.

This event attracted significant interest from attendees, particularly IT experts from various industries, representing important step demonstrating the commitment of Metro Connect and I2 Enterprise to presenting innovations for future businesses.
